CBRE South Eastern Europe (CBRE SEE), a leading regional commercial real estate consultancy company, has launched a new line of business dedicated to capital investments in hospitality sector. After the expansion in the form of opening offices in Zagreb, Sofia and Ljubljana, this is the first time since the establishment of the direct office for the Southeast Europe region, that the company is starting a new business segment.
CBRE SEE provides a full range of real estate consulting services, and our Capital Markets team has already proven its capabilities and expertise in various transactions within the hospitality sector. The decision to open a new line of business is a clear indicator of the development and possibilities of this segment of the real estate market in our region
With the knowledge of the local business environment, combined with the experience and resources of the global CBRE network, this expansion will contribute to the significant growth of this segment of the real estate market.
The new line of business will allow us to strengthen our services dedicated to investments in the hospitality real estate sector. Our focus remains on promoting the region to foreign corporations and funds, so that the trend of direct foreign investments continues in the coming period
The new department will be lead by Zoran Danilović, Associate Director at CBRE SEE, who has many years of advisory experience in the field of capital investments throughout the region of Southeast Europe. Within CBRE, Zoran plays a key role in directing new capital and expanding the investment field for investors.
"Thanks to an integrated platform of specialized services for this segment, strategic direction, operational advice and a global network, the new CBRE SEE business line will provide our clients with the opportunity to make the most of their investments," Zoran Danilović notes.
"Although our focus is on all eight countries in which we operate, the special potential for further development and the interest of investors in investing in the hospitality sector refer to the entire Adriatic coast, with a special focus on the Croatian market, which has made significant progress in recent years in terms of increasing the number of tourists and construction of new accommodation capacities.
"Listening to the demands of the market, within the newly established department a local team was formed within the CBRE SEE office in Zagreb," emphasizes Danilović.
Zoran Danilović will speak about capital projects in Croatia's tourism sector in the coming years and the further development of this market segment at the upcoming conference "tREnd 2023-2027", which will be held in Zagreb on November 30, 2022 at the Esplanade Hotel.
